TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS

Las Vegas is coming back to life – and so is Las Vegas Field and Focus.

Our city leaders, major hotel corporations, McCarran airport and Las Vegas Field and Focus are following the CDC and World Health Organization’s suggested precautions to keep our city and workplaces safe as we get back to business. The tourist-based economy that drives Las Vegas is unique. Our city and the LVFF staff have the resources and ability to ensure that proper sanitization/disinfection is done regularly as we re-open our city and local economy.

Our building has announced they will be doubling the cleaning of the restrooms and common areas to four times a day. The buildings day porter will be sanitizing elevator call buttons, door handles, and other common area surfaces hourly. We have installed custom plexiglass barriers at our front desk, in our product testing distribution office and commissioned custom barriers for our discussion tables to separate respondents and shield the moderator to safely conduct in-person research again.

The health and wellness of our employees, clients and respondents has always been our highest priority. Inside our facility we have always maintained strict cleaning procedures because of the number of people that filter through our office daily. As mandated in Nevada and suggested by the CDC, all employees will be required to wear protective face coverings. LVFF will be requiring all respondents to wear a protective face covering in the lobby until seated in their partitioned seat at the discussion table. If the respondent does not have one – we will provide that for them upon entering the facility.

There is always hand sanitizer and tissues in all rooms. Moving forward, everyone entering will be required to use hand sanitizer and have their temperature checked at the front desk before going further into the facility. Our standard routine is to wipe the front desk, clipboards, pens/pencils, restroom keys, discussion tables and chair arms with sanitizing wipes after each group. All client spaces, countertops, light switches, doorknobs, volume knobs, and refrigerator handles are sanitized nightly as standard practice… now this will be done after each group.

We have 3 focus group rooms: Room 1 will comfortably seat up to 5 respondents and the moderator with partitions. Room 2 will seat up to 7 and the moderator with partitions. Room 3 is a multi-purpose room large enough to have 10 individual desks spaced 6 ft. around the room to accommodate social distancing, or up to 24 with plexiglass partitions to accommodate our mock trial clients. All our client viewing rooms are spacious, typically seating 15-18, and will comfortably accommodate 6-7 appropriately distanced seats for clients.

We have added individually wrapped germ defense hand wipes in the client rooms and changed to individually packaged snacks versus the typical open bowls of snacks on the viewing counters to help eliminate transfer of germs.

Out of an abundance of caution, we will be asking respondents if they or any family members have traveled out of the country in the past 3 month or been sick in the past 4-6 weeks. This will help us minimize possible exposure while giving our respondents and clients some piece of mind that we are being proactive to minimize and eliminate the possibility of exposure in a small group situation.

Additionally, we are a FocusVision streaming facility and have an in-house Moderator allowing clients to simply send their discussion guide and watch the groups remotely. No travel necessary. This will help maintain some continuity in the scheduled and upcoming research projects. We have also added ZOOM online groups to our offerings which works well for IDI’s and groups up to 8 respondents and the moderator in the so-called “Brady Bunch” squares. The ZOOM Pro platform can accommodate larger groups of up to 100 participants.

We are doing everything possible to help mitigate any exposure or transmission within our facility. Our staff has been briefed on the CDC and WHO guidelines for sanitizing our workplace to keep our employees, clients, and respondents safe.

Wishing you, your team, your family and your community continued health and peace as this crisis runs its course.
